This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I  only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

With this information in mind, we can now overlay the aerial photos more accurately on Google Earth.

This places the object on the western face of the ridge in a very steep area. You will however notice the large rock and the cavity above it, that could explain why this object - if it is ZK-BMP - being able to remain there at least until 1990 when the aerial photo was taken!

Although some objects appear to be on different angles and different proportions, this is only due to the different angle that the photo was taken from, and the different altitude.
