This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

This is a page copied from Trevor Crabtree’s book, “BUY ME A BEER (and I’ll tell you some lies)”of a poem that he wrote.
It does have some similarities to the previous account except that the Ruahine Ranges is quite some distant further south from Willowflat.
Trevor was known as someone who ‘stretched’ the truth somewhat, as the name of his book suggests, so we will probably never know if he did in fact come across this Tiger Moth....Pity! It’s interesting though....
