This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I  only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

Seeing as this is supposed to be a volcanic scoria bank, it begs the question of what is this obvious foreign matter doing in this cavity if this bank is supposedly untouched?

Note that the section to the right of this cavity looks very much like a skilful plastered job.

One of our sources, claimed that 2 1/2 years was spent camouflaging all these entrances up, and I do feel that if I was given 2 1/2 years and the funding to do a job such as this, that I could do it too! - It would be time consuming, but not impossible to reconstruct this bank to make it look original. All you’d need is to slowly shave layer upon layer from the bank further around, and re-lay it so that it blends in.

A lot of this wall did appear to have a certain amount of cement binding it together.

I'm inclined to think there is some truth in the story of a French Camouflage Expert doing work on the rock face! Seems unbelievable, but the evidence does seem stack up!

I note that on page 91 im Martin’s first book “Tunnel Vision”, this part of the cliff face was not checked out for a possible tunnel, when the New Zealand Army supposedly "investigated" the possibility of tunnels in 1980.

I have much, much more that I could talk about, but as Martin’s latest book should hopefully arrive in the mail today, I will read it first and see if I can fill in any gaps... after all this is Martin’s project and I don’t wish to detract from all the incredible, hard work he has done over the last couple of decades! ... I can’t wait to read it!!!

24th November 2014

I have now finished reading Martin’s book and it is a very interesting read. To all those skeptics out there, I challenge you to buy a copy, read it and see if you still think there is no hidden tunnels in North Head! As far as I’m concerned, Martin has proven with the evidence he has provided in this book that there is a very high probability that the Boeings still do exist, but in all his efforts to find them, he has exposed an even bigger problem... a huge Government/Military cover-up of the past in using the cheapest option to dispose of unstable dangerous ammunition - seal up the tunnels and make out there is no problem (Ostrich mentality).

Had there not been these very rare aircraft stored in these tunnels, then they would have succeeded with this cover-up as due to the passage of time everyone would have forgotten about it. It will be interesting to see if our present day Government/Military will face up to the problem and admit to it... after all, no-one can blame them for it as they were not involved... unless they continue the denials! It’s a huge problem but I’m sure with all the modern day technology available, someone can come up with a solution? The best way to solve it is for an admission from the powers that be, and then we all get our ‘thinking caps’ on and develop a solution. Anyway, you’ll need to get hold of a copy of his book to fully understand what I mean.

Martin has only published in his book what he feels can be totally scientifically backed up with the use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology and although he has much, much more, this leaves me with plenty of scope to portray more on this site:

On page 361 of his latest book, he displays a GPR 2D image showing a shaft in the area of the “Old Search-light area”.  When I first read this, I immediately recognised it as being linked in to probably one of the most obvious (if you know where to look) sealed tunnel entrances on the whole hill. Below is a Google Earth image that I have drawn (by memory - not highly accurate) of the location of the existing underground tunnels and ammunition storage room that is open to the public to this day.

You’ll notice that the Ammunition Room entrance/small room is offset to the left leaving an unusual very thick wall between that small room and the surrounding ventilation corridor. For those that don’t know, these ventilation corridors were built for the purpose of getting air to candles used for lighting that were placed in small window cut-outs between the corridors and the magazine with glass being used on the magazine side to keep the flame away from the ammunition. You’ll note the position of the GPR shaft and a shaft I have drawn in in this thick wall.
